Tim’s walk with God started at an early age. Tim’s youth pastor was a key influence during his high school years—helping to deepen his faith and develop a heart for missions. Tim’s first exposure to missions came through short-term projects in Mexico, lead by his youth pastor, trips that included building homes and evangelizing children.

Education and experience have prepared Tim for his future ministry in Mexico. He earned a Bachelors Degree in History at Wheaton College and a masters Degree in Missions at Wheaton College Graduate School. Before starting his Masters, Tim worked as a missionary reaching out to homeless children living on streets of Mexico City. After completing his education Tim worked for five years in benefits administration for a large company, learning a systems approach to management. During this time, Time served on the mission board of a local church and led several short-term trips into Mexico.

After five years in the corporate world, God called Tim into full-time missions, placing a desire in his heart to work with the people of Mexico. In 2004, he moved to the border town of Tecate, committed to working with the local church for two years in developing Christian leaders. Seeing the need for continued development of the local church, Tim will return to Tecate fostering the growth of evangelical church leadership within the city and surrounding areas.
