The Shape of Your Life
How God Has Designed You
To Make An Eternal Difference
It’s been six years since our church participated in the "Forty Days of Purpose" campaign, an experience that made a lasting change in many of our lives. Here’s a quick review; see how much you remember! First, we were planned for God’s pleasure (worship). Second, we were formed for God’s family (fellowship). Third, we were created to become like Christ (discipleship). Fourth, we were shaped for service (ministry). And fifth, we were made for a mission (evangelism).
This fall we’re going to spend six weeks as a church exploring the fourth of our five purposes in life – what does it mean to say that God has shaped us for service? We’re going to use that word "SHAPE" to help us discover how God has uniquely designed each of us to make an eternal difference in our world. "S" stands for "spiritual gifts," "H" for "heart," "A" for "abilities," "P" for "personality" and "E" for experiences. The Bible tells us that there is no one in this world just like you, and that you can make a difference in our world no one else is designed to make. So join us at Cornerstone this fall as we work together to discover "the shape of your life." Not only will you never be the same – thanks to you, neither will our church and neither will our world.
